JRMorgen Productions offers low-budget solutions to many of your filmmaking needs. We have an ever increasing collection of special effects knowledge, filmmaking tips, links to valuable resources, useful downloads,plans & diagrams for building your own film equipment, and many other things to help you to be a better filmmaker. We also have a wide range of products and services that we offer including (but in no way limited to); photographic services, graphic design, special effects consultation and advising, custom designed 3D animated logos for your films or websites, script editing, and a wide range of other fine filmmaking services.
If you have a question about a service that is NOT on our site, feel free to contact us anyway, and if we can't provide the answers you are looking for , we will try to hook you up with people that can, or give you places to turn for your answers. We try our best to make your filmmaking experience a pleasent one.

Our History
JRMorgen Productions was established in 1998 and is run by John Morgenthaler. Starting in theatrical set design and construction, JRMorgen Productions quickly moved on to special effects and special effects makeup. These became highly useful when we started our highly acclaimed anual haunted houses and halloween attractions.
In 2000, John attended the State University of New York (SUNY) at Purchase College, where he received a BFA in Video and Design, minoring in Photography. While there, John was called upon to do special effects and special effects makeup for several student films.
After graduating, John expanded JRMorgen Productions to include filmmaking, photography, graphic design, and aquired a filmmaking mesasge board called The Moviemakers Portal.
JRMorgen Productions is currently in post-production of the 30minute short film, The Delivery.
